OUTREACH
How do we define "gracious professionalism?"
For us, gracious professionalism means working towards a better tomorrow for everyone. We hope to use robotics to further these goals through outreach and awareness.
Within Our Schoolhouse
This year, we began to collaborate with Nightingale's Peer Tutoring program. Every Monday and Wednesday we send two members of our team to the Middle School's extra help lab to tutor students on coding topics in Java, CSS, HTML, Python, Javascript. Additionally, we have an open-door policy for Upper School students: any student in grades 9-12 can come to the maker space for help on their programming homework from any available member of our team.

In the past, we have had members of our team volunteer to help assist Lower School LEGO robot classes, and have had the opportunity to present our robot to the Lower School fair. Additionally, we have presented to the whole Upper School about our team multiple times over the past few seasons.
Beyond Our Schoolhouse
This year we are collaborating with other teams to work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all minorities in FTC. We are also proud regional partners with FIRST Ladies.

In the past, we have volunteered to judge at Brooklyn Tech Robotics for their LEGO League.
