2022
Last year we hosted an event for gender minorities in FTC on April 8,  2022. We invited guest, who identified as a woman/gender minority, to speak about their career in STEM. This was a casual networking opportunity for gender minorities in FTC to connect with each other and with the speaker.
2019
In 2019 we held our first Gender Minorities in FTC conference. This event builds a community for gender minorities, a term we define as anyone who does not identify as a cisgender man. As the New York Regional Partner for FIRST Ladies, we hope to make this event a regular occurrence. As the regional partner for our area, one of our team members wrote a summary of the event and our plans to hold a second one in 2020, canceled due to COVID.
